Chris Keane physio is a Chartered Physiotherapy, Sports Injuries & Specialised rehabilitation Clinic. This is a young innovative private practice. We look to combine the latest in modern medicine and performance technology together with a friendly hands on approach. Founder

Chris Keane

Chris is a former professional rugby player and achieved great success with Connacht and Leinster winning Heineken Cup and Magners pro 12 medals.

Chris is a former professional rugby player and achieved great success with Connacht and Leinster winning Heineken Cup and Magners pro 12 medals. He also represented Ireland at senior level. Chris retired from professional rugby after suffering a hip injury while playing for his local club Skerries RFC. Since retiring he has qualified as a chartered physiotherapist.

Chris' treatment approach has been shaped by his own injury history and exposure to various treatment strategies as a professional athlete. Chris believes it is important for the client to play an active role throughout the rehabilitation process. This is achieved through the use of various therapy techniques and exercise strategies specific to the client’s needs.

At the end of the rehabilitation process, Chris hopes to have facilitated a safe and effective return to a healthy and active lifestyle….injury free!

Jack Smith

Jack is a current All Star senior club and inter county footballer with both Skerries Harps and Westmeath winning the Tialteann cup 2022.

Jack is a current All Star senior club and inter county footballer with both Skerries Harps and Westmeath winning the Tialteann cup 2022. He has also represent Dublin at underage and senior level in the past. He has achieved great success in this field, but over the years has picked up a number of injuries which initially sparked his interest in physiotherapy.
He completed an undergrad in DCU in athletic therapy and training and went on to complete a masters in physiotherapy in UCD. Jack has previously done a lot of work with teams such as Skerries Harps and the Dublin U21s. Jack applies a patient based approach with treatment plans implemented around the client’s specific needs and ambitions.
He believes in patient education as an important tool in allowing the patient properly understand their prognosis and the value of adhering to the treatment, allowing the client to take control of their ailment.
Over the course of treatment with Jack he hopes to supply you with the correct information and treatment that will allow you to leave pain free and with the tools to sustain this going into the future.
Physiotherapist

Roisin McFadden

Roisin first studied Sports coaching and performance at Letterkenny Institute of Technology in 2018 before then moving to the UK in 2019 to complete a Bachelor of science in Physiotherapy in Coventry University.

Roisin first studied Sports coaching and performance at Letterkenny Institute of Technology in 2018 before then moving to the UK in 2019 to complete a Bachelor of science in Physiotherapy in Coventry University. While based in the UK Roisin gained invaluable experience working in the NHS treating a variety of patients including paediatrics, trauma patients, specialist surgery patients and has spent the last 4 months working in a neuroscience team treating numerous different neurological conditions.

Aside from work Roisin has a passion for sport and physical activity both as a participant and as a spectator. Roisin’s sporting interests include rowing, Gaelic football, and athletics. Having been involved in competitive sport all her life Roisin understands the impact injury can have so will work with clients to provide treatment plans that are specific to their sport or activity.
